It goes further than that, however, because not only are workers at height given a certain peace of mind, but those working below also appreciate not being clobbered on the head by a) a falling body and b) a falling piece of equipment.

Risk management is a language we are fluent in; our health and safety protocol is communicated via our Safety Officer and Health and Safety Representative, and our workers are led by team members who hold SARNZ Scaffolding Certificates of Competence and National Certificates in Scaffolding.

The Good Practice Guidelines are a Work Safe NZ document (under the Health and Safety at Work Act, 2016) covering all health and safety requirements for the erection of scaffolding. The team at Erect Scaffolding Christchurch are fully conversant with these policies and undergo refresher training when required.

Our team are all highly trained and hold Building Construction Passports and first aid certificates and have been police vetted.

As part of our routine procedure, a Site-Specific Safety Plan is completed for each project and a Full Task Analysis completed prior to our onsite commencement.
